So as you all know I did a cutting diet about 2 years ago and over the 10 week period I lost a stack of excess body fat just by changing my diet. Tho the 10 weeks were very hard the final result was amazing!!! I lost a stack of bell fat which is one of the hardest places to lose weight from, and a place where i usually struggle.
As with all fast diets they are unsustainable, tho a great way to give your body a quick kick in the butt. There is one real key principle which I took away for the diet which is…. EAT YOUR BREAKFAST.
Due to the crazy nature of my job as a personal trainer, my hours of work change weekly as well as working split shifts every day. On top of this I currently study full time at the University of Wollongong in Public Health. This causes me to have a some very long days starting from 6am and finishing work at 10 or 11pm. So with days like this I need to ensure I fill my body with the right food at the right times. In the mornings I do a morning shake which fills me up, is quick to make and delicious. I have been drinking this smoothie up to 4 times per week for 2 years and I am still not sick of it. So give it a try if you are one of those people who are “tooooo busy to eat breakfast”.
- Place all items into a blender
- 100g oats
- 1 cup of frozen berries
- 6 ice cubes
- 150mls of skim or light milk
- 200mls of water
- 30g of strawberry protein powder
- Blend until the mix thoroughly, and Enjoy!
